Studying music stimulates cognitive development in several areas of the brain, including memory, concentration, logical reasoning and problem solving.
Playing a musical instrument requires hand-eye coordination and fine coordination of movements. This can help develop fine motor skills and improve overall body coordination.
Studying music sharpens your hearing and develops listening skills. Musicians learn to discern and recognize different tones, rhythms, melodies and harmonies, which improves their ability to hear and appreciate sounds in their environment.
The study of music involves regular practice and dedication to improving technical and artistic skills. Music students learn the importance of discipline, patience, and persistence in achieving their musical goals.
Music is a means of artistic expression and allows students to channel their emotions through musical performance and creation.
Participating in musical ensembles, bands or choirs encourages teamwork and social skills. Musicians learn to listen and collaborate with others, to follow directions from the conductor, and to work together to achieve a common goal.
We organize recitals with different musical themes every 3 months, creating a unique experience for students and the general public. These themed recitals are an opportunity for students to showcase their skills and talents in a real performance environment. Each recital focuses on a specific musical genre or style, allowing students to explore different repertoires and expand their artistic horizons.
These events also encourage creativity and collaboration, as students can participate in ensembles and group performances. Additionally, they provide a platform for students to develop their stage confidence and share their passion for music with audiences.
The Emilio Pineda Academy of Music and Arts stands out for its innovative approach and commitment to the comprehensive growth of its students. The themed recitals are a testament to their dedication to providing enriching and memorable experiences, promoting the love of music and art in the local community.
